Franklin County Canine Shelter Achieves 92% Reside Release For 2019!!!

Due to Covid-19, we are appointment only on the dog and cat shelters until additional notice. Please call to schedule an appointment at the canine shelter, and to make an appointment with the cat shelter. Michigan law REQUIRES ALL DOGS 4 months of age and older to have a present dog license. Our animal management officers will write a misdemeanor ticket to dog owners who don’t have a current license. Offenders will be topic to charges and court docket costs that would whole up to $500.
